Tennis Elbow Products
Tennis elbow is characterized by a soreness or pain on the outside of the forearm by the elbow. It's typically caused by a repetitive twisting of the wrist, which in turn develops small tears in the tendons connecting the forearm muscles to the bone.
But wait... does that mean that if you play too much tennis you'll get tennis elbow? Well, no, because most cases of tennis elbow are the result of improper form, especially on the backhand side. So if you're starting to develop some soreness in your forearm, ask a teaching pro to see if they can identify any hitches in your strokes first. If there's nothing wrong with your form, the next biggest culprit is the equipment. If you're using a racquet that's too heavy or strings that are too stiff, your entire arm will suffer significantly more shock than more forgiving frames.
Below are items that we hand selected to help alleviate tennis elbow problems: lighter racquets with a cushier feel, softer grips, softer strings, vibration dampeners, and forearm bands.
